Your sewer hose spends its life on gravel, grass, and hot pavement. The Levitator Hose Cover keeps it clean, shaded, and off the ground.

  • Blocks UV and dry rot. Weather-resistant white vinyl shields the hose from sun and weather, the top causes of cracks and leaks.
  • Wraps on in seconds. Hook-and-loop closure. No tools, no threading the hose through a sleeve.
  • Stays on for travel. Leave it on the hose between stops. Setup and breakdown get faster.
  • Modular 5 ft sections. 10 ft is two sections. 15 ft is three. Use only what your run needs.
  • Cleaner handling. The hose stays off dirt and debris, so your hands and your storage bay do too.

Fits standard RV sewer hoses. The same cover is included with every Levitator support kit.

Fit and sizing

Each section is 5 ft long and wraps around standard RV sewer hoses. 10 ft = two sections. 15 ft = three sections. Sections overlap, so any length in between works. Measure your hose and round up.

FAQs

Which length do I need?

Measure your sewer hose fully extended and round up. 10 ft covers a standard hose with two 5 ft sections. 15 ft uses three. Sections overlap, so anything in between works too.

What is the cover made of?

A waterproof, weatherproof, UV-resistant white vinyl that stands up to sun and weather season after season.

How does it go on?

Wrap it around the hose and press the hook-and-loop strip closed. No tools. No threading the hose through a sleeve.

Can I leave it on for travel and storage?

Yes. That's the idea. Leave it on between stops and setup gets faster every time.

Will it fit my hose?

It fits standard RV and camper sewer hoses, including the common 3 in sizes.

Is this the same cover that comes with the Levitator support kit?

Yes. Every support kit includes a 10 ft cover. Buy this one for a spare hose, a longer run, or sun protection without elevation.

Extends the hose life!

I've got high hopes for this hose cover preserving the life of our sewer hose through the insane beatdown of the sun in the summer desert. It's the perfect size to wrap around a standard septic hose and the velcro allows for easy install and removal. I used two of the three pieces to cover our 10ft hose and it fits perfectly.

Flexible Hose Covers That Extend Hose Life

These covers are a smart investment considering how expensive sewer hoses can be. They provide excellent protection against UV damage and weather, helping extend the life of your hoses.✅ Easy Installation – Each set comes in three separate 5‑foot sections that simply wrap around the hose and secure with Velcro. This design makes them quick to install and flexible to use.✅ Customizable Length – Because the sections are separate, you only use what you need. That’s especially handy since hose length requirements vary from one campground to the next.⚠️ Color Concern – My only complaint is the white color. It shows dirt and discoloration quickly, which can make them look worn sooner than they actually are. Offering darker colors or multiple options would be a big improvement.⚠️ Length Options – Not everyone needs exactly 15 feet. Some campers may only need 10, while others might prefer 20. More quantity options would make these even more versatile.💲 Value – For the quality and functionality, the price is very reasonable. These covers are a practical way to protect your investment in sewer hoses without breaking the bank.

Great Quality Sewer Hose Cover! Help Mitigate Sewer Line Flex! Sun Protection!

Great Quality Sewer Hose Cover! Help Mitigate Sewer Line Flex! Sun Protection! Simple to Install! At first, I thought the cover seems a little loose, but then realized there is just enough space to include a water hose or service line. I like the white color, as it reflects the sun. The material is a durable type of nylon, so it is easy to clean. These fold up nicely and can be stored with your hoses. Overall I recommend this product!

Nice way to protect your equipment

First off, I've got to say I really am impressed with these. They're so easy to use. They're all Velcro edged, and basically, they will Velcro around your sewer line from your rv, protecting the plastic, but I also think it becomes a bit of an insulator also they're white, which means they're not going to look so good. After they've been used for a while. But putting them on is real easy. All you do is lay it out. Put the sewer line in it. Bring both edges up and around and Velcro them at the center and then put the next one on On until you've got enough of them. Ah, it came with 3 lengths, 3 sections. I should say is 6 foot long, so you definitely got enough here for a 20 foot hose. It's made out of a kind of a coated nylon. They're lightweight and their heavy stitched. I expect them to last a very long time. The other thing I'm impressed about is the idea that these protect your septic lines from UV damage and stuff like that. It's cheaper to replace these than it is to replace a good hose.Right?Quality is top.Shelf price is right?Functionality is great ease of use. There's nothing to it.A one handed person to actually get it done. They're that easy to put on enjoy

the head that goes into sewer line could possibly leak

it's only been a few months but so far so good. it does look a lot better than just having one on the ground and open but the head of it that goes in to the sewer line isn't positioned just right it will leak

Great fit and protective value.

Levitator Store - RV Sewer Hose Cover, Premium RV Hose Cover, Camper Sewer Hose Sock, RV Camping Essentials - 15 ft, White.I need about 25-30 ft of hose for my full-time RV lifestyle in the high desert, where the UV rays are brutal on RV hoses. They may look fine sitting in place, but once you straighten or store them, you find holes from sun damage. If I let mine go too long. I find that, I’m more concerned about wastewater leaks than the cost of replacing hoses, and these covers are exactly what I needed to help prevent that. The material feels thick, durable, and white to reflect heat and UV, extending the hose’s life. It’s sturdy and easy to install. I use all 15 ft for one of my two RV hose connections and am testing how it holds up compared to an uncovered hose. For the price, it’s a fair value, even at 15 ft, which comes in three 5 ft sections for easy customization. They protect the hose from leaves and extend its lifespan, with hook-and-loop closures ensuring a snug, clean fit.I’m very pleased with the design and build so far. It seems like a great combination of quality materials and construction. Time will tell how long they last. Highly recommended and a good value overall.

Very easy installation

Very happy with purchase. Easy to put on. Will see how well it holds up and protects sewer hoses from hot sun. Hopefully I won't have to purchase new hoses every other year.

Easy to use and looks nice!

Has your hose ever exploded from sun exposure? This is a must have for any RVer. It's a 5 star.

It works

Easy install and highly visible so you can't accidentally run into it. Only thing is I wish it had velcro on the ends so you can attach them together but my run is short enough that they overlap plenty.

Seems good and fairly easy install

Seems like a good cover to protect against UV light. It was fairly easy to put on, and the velcro straps were nice to help secure the cover in place. However, the velcro straps were a little short and I would have loved an extra inch or two so it was just a little bit easier to secure.

What a great idea

We recently had to throw away a segment of our sewer hose because of sun fatigue, and it was one of the more expensive ones. We wish we would have found these covers sooner. What we like about them:• Comes in three five foot sections, making it easy to handle and fit onto the hose; providing flexibility when it comes to the desired length• Made of durable material which should last quite a while• Is easy to clean, fold up, and store in a small space• Keeps the outside surface of the sewer hose clean which makes for neater packing and storing• Based on our experience, these covers should significantly increase the lifespan of our sewer hoses• Considering the cost of a good sewer hose, these covers are a good value

Shielding the Artery: Mitigating Degradation in the Mobile Bio-Logistics System

Our motorhome, which functions as a remote field lab for weeks at a time, relies on specialized infrastructure to maintain its operational integrity. Crucial among these systems is the flexible interface—the RV sewer hose—that conveys human bio-matter from our closed loop and transfers it into an external processing system. This interface, by necessity, is exposed to the elements, and over time, it will inevitably succumb to the invisible, destructive forces of photodegradation and oxidative degradation. This Levitator RV Sewer Hose Cover was acquired as a direct scientific countermeasure: a protective sheath designed to decelerate these chemical processes and thereby extend the useful lifespan of the vital, flexible artery. The Chemical Assault: Understanding DegradationThe typical RV sewer hose is constructed primarily of polymeric materials (various forms of plastic or vinyl), which are inherently vulnerable to the environment.1. Photodegradation (UV Attack): This is the destruction initiated by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. UV light possesses sufficient energy to break the polymer chains that make up the hose material. When these strong chemical bonds break, the material suffers chain scission, leading to loss of elasticity, surface cracking, and eventual brittleness. The hose becomes prone to dry rot—a physical failure resulting from chemical breakdown.2. Oxidative Degradation: This process involves atmospheric oxygen reacting with the polymer chains, often accelerated by heat and UV exposure. Oxygen attacks the weakened bonds, creating free radicals that propagate further destruction in a catastrophic chain reaction. This process rapidly converts the flexible, resilient plastic into a hard, cracked, and compromised shell. The Scientific Defense: Extending the Polymer's LifeThe Levitator cover—constructed of three five-foot lengths of heavy-duty, waterproof, weatherproof vinyl—functions as a radiant barrier and a physical shell, directly countering these two destructive mechanisms:* UV Blockage: The vinyl material of the cover, especially the White color variant, acts as a sacrificial, opaque layer that blocks 100% of the damaging UV radiation from reaching the hose material beneath. By preventing the photons from breaking the polymer chains, the cover effectively stops the initial chain scission that leads to dry rot.* Oxidative Shielding: By covering the hose, the sleeve minimizes the localized heat from solar absorption and reduces the constant surface exposure to oxygen and abrasive dust, thereby slowing the rate of oxidative deterioration.Engineering and LogisticsThe design of the Levitator is elegantly simple, a lesson in effective, low-tech utility. The use of a hook and loop closure allows for quick, easy installation (under a minute) while providing a tight, protective fit. Crucially, the manufacturer notes that the sleeve can remain on the hose during storage. This maintains the hose's cleanliness, keeping debris (mud, bugs, grass) off the component, transforming the task of handling this critical, if unpleasant, piece of sanitation logistics into a cleaner, more sterile procedure. This product is an essential, scientifically-sound investment. It is not merely a cosmetic add-on but a polymer life-extension system that ensures the durability and reliability of our bio-matter transfer conduit, allowing us to focus on the mission rather than the mundane failure of materials.
